Islamic Bank

Islamic Bank
Islamic Bank’s 100,000 sq ft headquarters at Integra Tower consolidates four previously separate offices into a single, unified workplace. The relocation formed part of a broader organisational shift towards a more agile, digitally enabled operating model. The brief required more than spatial efficiency; it demanded a workplace that balanced regulatory and security requirements with employee well-being, collaboration, and long-term sustainability.
An activity-based working framework structures the space around five modes: Work, Meet, Connect, Social, and Support. Hierarchical layouts were replaced with flexible zones that encourage mobility and interaction. A clear vertical stacking strategy organises executive, collaborative, and operational functions across four levels, while centralised social anchors — including a flexible town hall and work café — support knowledge exchange. Acoustic engineering and privacy controls ensure confidentiality without compromising openness.
Material choices pair contemporary finishes with locally sourced textiles, grounding the environment within its Malaysian context. Integrated digital systems, secure access protocols, and ESG-aligned specifications support both operational resilience and future growth. Delivered as a fully integrated design and build programme, the headquarters establishes a coherent foundation for Islamic Bank’s continued transformation.
