MODEC

MODEC
MODEC’s regional headquarters at Mercu Aspire consolidates operations across four contiguous floors, supporting the company’s continued expansion within the offshore energy sector. The 74,760 sq ft workplace was designed to accommodate engineering, corporate, and technical teams within a cohesive, high-performance environment. The brief required a solution that reflected MODEC’s industrial precision while enabling operational growth and maintaining the rigorous technical standards inherent to offshore oil and gas operations.
The vertical stacking strategy establishes the headquarters as a connected campus rather than a series of isolated floors. Dedicated engineering zones are integrated with flexible touchdown areas and shared social anchors to encourage collaboration across disciplines. A central server room anchors the technological infrastructure, delivered through a phased handover to ensure continuity of business-critical systems during construction. Advanced acoustic treatments, high-performance glazing, and calibrated lighting support concentration within high-density engineering environments while maintaining openness and visibility.
Digital integration reinforces corporate identity and operational clarity. Interactive projection mapping and touch-screen installations within the reception environment communicate MODEC’s global fleet and technical capabilities, linking offshore operations with the land-based headquarters. High-performance materials and bespoke joinery reflect the brand’s emphasis on durability and precision, while comprehensive MEP, fire protection, and ACMV upgrades ensure resilience. Delivered as a fully integrated design and build programme, the headquarters provides a robust platform for MODEC’s continued regional growth.
