Our Story

SW1 began with a simple idea: to create better places to work – for everyone.

It started with a vision to deliver world-class solutions guided by a set of principles – clarity, integrity, and care. From the beginning, we’ve believed that doing the right thing matters just as much as doing it well. That mindset continues to shape how we design, build, and grow.

Founded by a team with deep experience across design, construction, and strategy, we saw a need for a more integrated approach – one that balances creativity with precision, and ambition with accountability.

Over the past decade, we’ve built a methodology that genuinely reflects the needs of the modern workplace – and continues to raise the bar for what’s possible. It’s a way of working that reflects our clients’ own appetite to evolve, elevate, and lead with purpose.

Quality Management System
(ISO 9001:2015)

  • We maintain an ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System, accredited for the Provision of Interior Design, Interior Fit-Out, and related Construction Works.
  • This certification, initially obtained in July 2013, demonstrates our commitment to consistent quality standards.

Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) & Government Procurement

  • We are an actively registered contractor with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) of Malaysia.
  • Our registration includes the highest grade, G7, for the categories of Building Construction (B), Civil Engineering Construction (CE), and Mechanical and Electrical (ME).
  • We also hold the Sijil Perolehan Kerja Kerajaan (SPKK), certifying our registration for government work procurement.

Ministry of Finance (MOF) Registration

  • We are registered with the Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia (Ministry of Finance) for the supply of services to the Malaysian government.

  • We are officially licensed by the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) for Film Production activities
  • Our registration authorizes us to engage in professional film production services at our designated premises.
  • This license ensures our compliance with the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Licensing) Regulations 1983, supporting the local creative and media industry.
